Really nice shoe... I love everything about his new clog, I
wear Danskos every day b/c of my job, very excited when I got
these...Only to find out they run very small! I have numerous
41's and put sole to sole w/ all of them these come up short
in the end. There also a little tighter on the top were the
cutouts are. Just go up a size, especially if you are going to
wear socks!!! Not the
stapled clog, alas... In a hurry, I failed to read the full
description of this shoe and assumed it was my old favorite
Dansko stapled clog footbed. I was excited to see the size 43
as I have a large (11.5 US women’s size), wide (E width) foot
and was hoping to be able to wear a little bit thicker sock
with this shoe for the winter. Well, this is not the stapled
clog fit. The 43 fit me (sort of) but only with a thin trouser
sock (but then the left foot was a little loose and tended to
slip out of the shoe, which is not adjustable). The leather is
fairly hard and while it might stretch, I found it to run a
little narrow for a Dansko and leaving no room to wiggle the
toes. Also the bottom is not the same material as the usual
stapled clog (my fault for failing to read carefully). A cute
shoe but not for me, alas. |
