and smooth ride. Its heel is 4 ¼ inches high with 1 inch high
platform. The height of the platform makes the height of the
heel feel less. The heel is stiletto it is wrapped with the
same material as the upper along with the platform. It weighs

don't get what the fuss is about - I'm a nurse and all of my
friends have been raving about Nine shoes for years. I finally
caved in and bought the Nine West Bonfire for an upcoming trip
to Europe where I will be doing lots of walking. I've got to
say, I still don't get why people say these are the most
comfortable shoes on the planet. Obviously, fit is very
individual, but these shoes have given me blisters over my
third and fourth toes despite having worn them many times in
an effort to break them in. The lining is cushy but so
soft/slippery that there isn't any grip, so my foot slides
forward and I bang the tips of my big toes into the front of
the shoe when I walk. Plus, they are bulky and frumpy looking.
Maybe they could be saved if they came in a fun color like
red, but there is nothing cute about these shoes. I am trying
soo hard to love these shoes as much as my friends do, but
clearly they just aren't for everyone.
A perfect shoe - I almost
didn't buy these after reading some of the reviews. I think if
you have really high arches these might rub the tops of your
feet. For me, they are absolutely perfect. I've been wearing
them with capris and pants, but they're so comfy, I think I'll
wear them with everything! I am usually an 8 1/2 so I went
with the 8 1/2 - 9 sizing, and they are a great fit. My first
pair of NW; but definitely not my last. |
