sad! Some back-story: I am a HEEL WEARER. A few months back I
really messed up my feet out dancing and I made a vow: I
wasn't going to wear any more shoes that hurt. Never again! So
I bought these because I wanted a Mary Jane that was cute and
comfy... but the leather seems a little stiff, and it's nearly
impossible to tighten the strap, so my long, thin feet slip
forward and bunched up in the end. And woe betide you if you
have hammer toes, because there is no room in the front of
this shoe for your feet to slide forward. I can tell these
would mess up my feet, even though they probably wouldn't have
felt like heels at all while they did that. Credit where
credit is due: they didn't feel like heels at all (except for
the toe bunching thing).
I wear it for work. I like
the extra height and it is comfortable, but toward the end of
the day of being on my feet constantly, it does start to hurt.
I wear it with jeans also and black socks. I love it. Stylish
and Comfortable - These shoes are really pretty and so
comfortable. Other people have told me that Facade made a
great clog, but they were never right for me... however I
recently ordered the Nine West and I'm hooked. They seem just
a tiny bit big to be worn with nylons, so I just got some
inexpensive inserts and now they fit perfectly! I definitely
recommend this shoe for comfort at work and style into the
evening. |
