Great shoes! I never write reviews but I found these sandals
to be so great in brown that I ordered them in black too! They
are the only shoes I want to wear now. The look dressy but are
super comfortable. I didn't have any of the rubbing or size
problems that other reviewers have mentioned.
First draft - I am a Nine
West lover and I am disappointed in the design of the sole.
Although most of the reviews complain of the opposite, I find
that my foot slides forward and my toes hang over the front on
each step. I do not normally have a narrow foot, so this has
never been a problem. There seems to be too much of a downward
slope without enough of a plateau for my forefoot to rest. I
could not go down a size as my foot would not fit on the sole
and if I tighten the strap it pushes my foot even more
anterior. Although, I could theoretically stand in these shoes
for days, it is difficult to keep my foot in the shoe as I
walk. I did put in sole pads in the front and that has helped,
but it is not the dream comfort + style shoe I had hoped when
purchased.

ninewest! I have plantar fasciitis so all my shoes need to be
really good right now. But I wanted something that was PRETTY,
FEMININE, and COMFORTABLE. When I saw the Helm on Zappos
website, I thought, "That's IT!" Soo cute! My feet tire after
several hours in this shoe, however, unlike my other Nine
West. It seems to be the straps more than the arch. I can live
with that. It's a beautiful shoe and overall very comfortable
- so far my favorite shoe! |
