The best summer shoe I've found so far - I gotten really tired
of buying cute-looking summer shoes, whether flats, sandals,
or heels and having my feet get totally destroyed by the cheap
materials and craftsmanship. So I decided to spend a little
extra and go with a name that is synonymous with comfort -
Ninewest. First of all, I LOVE the fact that Zappos got them
to me on the next day… for FREE! Can't beat that with a stick.
Secondly, these are very cute shoes. The only thing I don't
like about the look is how thick the beige insole is at the
instep. It has a vaguely orthopedic look, but from all other
angles, this shoe is hot. Third and most important, it's way
more comfortable than all my previous shoes. The sole feels
well-cushioned and while the straps are cutting me a little
bit, they're not doing such horrible damage. I think the fit
is just right except that I have to tighten the straps almost
all the way to feel like my heel isn't going to slip out.
Overall, these are great everyday shoes and definitely
good-looking enough to work for dress-up, too.
Wide foot? Get front
stretched - Bought black size 40 pair for a wedding in May.
Normally wear size 10W, size 40 in Jasmina. Have high arch,
high instep. As others have noted, this sandal can be tight or
rub over the front, knotted part. I found this to be so, so
had them stretched - this helped a lot. They aren't a walking
shoe, nor as comfortable as my other pairs of lower-heeled
Nine West slides & sandals, but for a dress -up shoe, they're
really great. Provide lots of arch support. Plus, very cute: I
get lots of compliments on them. |
